The North Somerset Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Network is seeking a part time Community Development Worker (CDW) to work with the BME communities across North Somerset
This is a fixed term post until March 2013
Hours: 12 hours per week
Salary: £7231.68 pa (£11.59 per hour)
Based in the SREC office at The Badger Centre, Wadham St, Weston-super-Mare, with outreach work across North Somerset.
The CDW will:
- Work with the North Somerset BME Network members
- Work to identify and engage with people in the BME communities in North Somerset
- Support the capacity building of BME individuals and community groups
- Promote the BME Network and the associated community groups
